As you may have already heard, Johnny Martinez underwent open heart surgery last week. Thank God above all, went well, and he is on the road to a full recovery.
Because doctors say he will not be returning to work anytime soon. We would like to raise funds to help with medical and everyday living expenses. We are hosting a plate sale with live entertainment from 11 am – 6 pm on Sunday, October 19th, at the American Legion Post #443 (20295 Somerset Rd, Somerset, TX 78069). I would like to invite you to take part in dance, food, and song.
Plates will consist of $12 chicken and sausage or $15 brisket and sausage, all will come with rice, beans, grilled corn on the cob, bread, jalapeno, and pickled onions.
